Your party includes your own personal mermaid that can perform on land or any size pool, our asssitant "mertender", a magical mermaid entrance, a special gift for the birthday person, mermaid pool or land games, and treasure for all the guppies! Minimum time is 30 minutes, and comes with one mermaid, her mer-assistant, all of her ocean-themed props, special entrance, mermaid games, storytime, and treasures for everyone. Looking to learn how to be a mermaid?
As a PADI certified freediver AND mermaid instructor, The Surreal Sirena teaches all skill levels how to become a mermaid.
This experience is for those that want to try swimming with a mermaid tail! We can introduce simple mermaid activities in a shallow pool or take your skills to the ocean. It is designed as a flexible, informative, enjoyable, and controlled experience centered on letting you discover what it's like to swim as a mermaid whether you're a kid or an adult (only for ages +6 and up). Videos and pictures will be taken at no cost for you to share and look back at this special memory! Minimum class time is 1 hour at a public pool in La Jolla or your own private pool. Comes with digital manual, all the underwater footage, and can rent out mono fins and tail skins for students.

Sura is based in sunny San Diego, California where she teaches freediving year round amongst the kelp and sea lions in the Pacific Ocean. She has an extensive freediving background including Emergency First Aid and scuba rescue training, instructing people from all walks of life about the science behind apnea and how our bodies adapt to depth. At the same time, she began mermaiding and performed for various events around the world including the Escondido Renaissance Faire, Wands and Wishes, Mermaids Make Waves, and Swim Brayv where she advocates for water conservation and swim safety.

She currently teaches both mermaiding and freediving, taking the best of both worlds and merging the two to educate all of her students about safety, proper technique, mindfulness, but most importantly to believe in one’s own amazing capabilities!
