THE STRICTLY 60s BAND

The band consists of 5 core members, who have been together for years. We are high energy - entertaining & fan friendly. We know our music & enjoy what we do. Want your guests to have a great night ? - you found your band.

Here is some info on the The Strictly 60s Band. The act is very good & we take pride in the sound we put out, & the show we put on. The main band would have 5 pieces.

Some brief info on the band - Strictly 60s has been together for about 20 years - It was my idea & concept & has been very well received over the years. We play approx. 100 - 125 times per year - our jobs range from clubs - private affairs - outdoor summer concerts - festivals - 50th - 60th & 70th birthday celebrations street fairs, library's etc..... Over the past few years we have been the opening act for national recording artists, such as The Brooklyn Bridge, Jay Black, The Happenings, The Beach Boys, & Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits,The Duprees, Tavares, to name a few.

My set list of songs include a variety of songs from the 1960's - so when you see my band, you are getting a taste of the WHOLE decade. We don't zero in on one band - like a Beatles or Rolling Stones Tribute band. We play some Beatles - Stones - Motown - Soul - The Monkees -Surf - older 60's - Elvis - Dion - Del Shannon - Doors One Hit Wonders etc... the songs I select are songs people can dance / sing along to-. I guarantee the people will enjoy the band - regardless of age - we put on a good show - with plenty of fan interaction. I don't just sing the songs - I get the people involved in singing - trivia - & audience participation - in other words we pride ourselves on being entertainers - in the true sense of the word.

Our equipment is Bose - state of the art sound system, & we do provide music during the breaks. We will also learn any "Special Songs" that you request. We promise that you will not be disappointed, & that the guests will be talking about your event for years to come.

One other thing for you to consider in making your choice is professionalism - we take pride in our band - & our reputation. We arrive early & have never canceled a job. We are reliable - return phone calls promptly & are "hands On" from the time we are hired - until the job is completed.

When you hire Srictly 60s - you do nothing !!! - all we need is for you to show us where you want us to set up & where to plug our equipment in. In other words - we do all the work - which is how it should be - we bring everything with us - from our sound system - Bose - state of he art PA - lights - etc......

We like to have access at least 90 minutes before we start - to set up in a timely manor, & parking for 4 vehicles.
