September 25, 2024I sought an alternative entertainment option for the Fourth of July besides traditional fireworks. The Stardust Pixxies delivered an extraordinary pyromania performance that captivated the audience. Many attendees were experiencing such a spectacle for the first time, leaving them thoroughly impressed by the performers' skills.

Jamie Failing is the Founder and creator of The Stardust Pixxies, Savannah’s Circus Performance Arts Troupe. A lover of Dance since birth, she has been dancing for decades. She has trained in studios across the U.S. in classic styles and focused on self taught technique and method of movement. Inspired by Textiles, Duality, Oil Paintings, Music, and Mother Earth. She takes care in the design and method of creating original costumes, by repurposing and up cycling. Her movement and dance style ranges from Prop Manipulation, to Classical and Experimental Choreography to Emotional Improv.
“A Stardust Pixxies show isn’t just a death-defying aerial ballet of fire, drama and exquisite skill. It’s a visual poetry of motion that has come to define the city of Savannah. It’s hard to believe it’s been just a few years since The Stardust Pixxies began in 2015, dazzling crowds at smaller gigs while they built their reputation. Fast forward to the present, and this sky-high circus of wonder and amazement is one of the biggest feathers in Savannah’s cultural cap. “We bring energy,” said Pixxies founder Jamie Failing. “With every show, we are trying to create an atmosphere where we can bring audiences into our world.”
