The Silent DJ

Our whole mindset is just BRING THE FUN: everyone together, dancing, laughing and yes...singing (usually loudly & badly) to share a collective joy. Once those headphones go on, people are literally immersed in the music and all the inhibitions... POOF, right out the window and you can't help but dance. Every time.
With the flip of a switch, guests can switch back and forth between up to three DJs playing simultaneously on three separate channels, their headphones glowing the color of the particular Silent DJ they are listing to. The Silent DJs then compete to see how many dancers they can get on their channel. Picture yourself with 200 people, all wearing headphones and on comes "Dancing Queen" or "Living on a Prayer," will you be singing? ;)

The Silent DJ pioneered the concept of silent disco in California in 2010 but prior to that, our DJs have been entertaining at events as traditional DJs (with speakers) throughout Southern California since 1985. Weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Corporate Events and birthdays...you name it, we've rocked it. And THAT is what makes a Silent DJ event unique in the world of silent disco: Each of our DJs has years of experience, playing all types of music, engaging crowds on the mic and elevating the fun with group dances, sing-alongs…things that just don’t happen with any other silent disco company.

We typically arrive 2 hrs prior to start and require a smooth-rollable surface to load in. Once there, we will need power to wherever we need to set up and usually a 6' table for headphones if it's 100 or more.
