What to expect
We are Barbershop quartet singing songs in the barbershop style. Our song list includes songs from several different decades from about 1920s to 60's/70's/80's and perhaps even later. :-) Our quartet is classified as a Senior quartet meaning our average age is above 60 with no one under 55 --we exceed that by a lot. We much prefer indoor singing in a concert setting rather than as background. Outdoor performances not preferred but can be done and sound reinforcement would likely be needed.
About
The SCHOOL BOARD is a Barbershop Quartet. Originally formed as a result of singing in a High School Production of "The Music Man", hence the name of the quartet.
Additional booking notes
Need a place to stand, four abrest without being crowded. A small table nearby to hold bottles of water would be nice.
If sound system is needed, we would need to discuss what you have available, or we often have access to a suitable microphone (wide coverage condenser mic --NOT hand held dynamic mics such as Shure SM58) --and cable(s), and perhaps a speaker or two that will cover a medium venue.
