March 4, 2024Professional, Responsive, Amazing Musician
We hired Andrew last year to play the ceremony at our outdoor wedding. Due to weather, we had to switch to a new indoor venue with only a few hours notice. Andrew accommodated us with professionalism and grace and worked with us to deliver an unforgettable ceremony. He performed an amazing set and was the highlight of our ceremony. Throughout the process, Andrew was incredibly responsive and great to work with. I'd work with him again for any event.

About
I am the sax blaster (aka Andrew), a professional saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and musical artist who loves elevating your events, no matter the occasion. I am originally from Stamford, CT, and started playing the saxophone when I was about nine years old. From early on, I had started taking private lessons and attending programs outside of school to study and learn more about music. It wasn't until I was sixteen, when I attended a magnet arts program where I gave a featured performance on the saxophone, that I decided that music was my calling. Ever since that moment, I have gotten more serious about music, performing in high school wherever I could. My studies earned me a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, where I studied with some of the finest musicians in the world and met peers who would become my most important assets in where I am today. After Berklee, I moved to NYC, where I cut my teeth for five years performing in wedding bands, playing corporate shows, and immersing myself in the jazz scene. In addition, I received my master's degree in Jazz Studies from Queens College. After NYC, I spent a year and a half performing six nights a week on the world's premier cruise ships for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in their onboard jazz venues. Through those experiences, I developed the skills I have today, and at the end of the day, I am grateful for all the experiences I have had. In my work, I hope to bring my love and passion to your event.
