October 19, 2026Captivating blues duo!
The Redbeards' music is fun and cleverly written; it keeps you wanting more! And the vocals are impressive. I have seen them play at multiple venues and the only thing I hate is when the show is over.

About
The Redbeards are a blues duo out of Kansas City, Missouri. Jacob Duncan and Larry Stronger combine for a powerhouse of original blues music. Blending delta blues and roots with a little gospel soul, they have a uniquely original style that’s all their own. Seasoned songwriters and pure storytellers using music as a vessel to share their experiences.
Jacob brings twenty years of experience as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, delivering dynamic, masterful guitar work and a commanding vocal presence that demands attention. Larry adds his talents as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter shaped by years of writing and performing in Nashville, Tennessee. Inspired by artists like Charlie Patton, Howlin’ Wolf, Lightnin’ Hopkins, and Son House, The Redbeards seek to honor the legacy of the the blues while also contributing to it.
Jacob and Larry met in high school nearly thirty years ago but went separate directions after graduation—Larry moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting professionally and Jacob started a popular blues band. Now, they’re back together and they’re doing something special.
