NOTE: As of Oct 1, 2025, I am only booking solo and duo performances. I will, however, accept inquiries for full band performances that occur starting in April 2026.
Doug Lane brings the fun, singable, danceable entertainment to any gathering with a passion for the best country, rock, and blues music.
A South Texas native, TRDL made his home in Utah County five years ago and has since toured throughout Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and California to many satisfied audiences. Available for events, parties, weddings, or concerts.

Doug was amazing through the whole planning process leading up to our wedding! He is so friendly and professional. The music was amazing and all of our guests loved them! We will definitely be looking for an opportunity to see the whole band play!

We were delighted and so happy with Doug's performance. He played throughout the cocktail hour and dinner. And he sang two songs we requested for the bride and groom which were terrific. About
The Real Doug Lane has performed for concerts, festivals, weddings, funerals, fundraisers, and parties of all shapes and sizes in Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas since 2015. With a massive catalogue of cover songs and very memorable original songs, the TRDL band is adept at adjusting to the crowd to keep the party going!
In 2016, Doug's song “Faces” was selected by Operation Encore, an organization that brings together singer/songwriters from across the country who are part of the military and veteran communities. At his first solo gig, the owner linked his performance to another artist – another Doug Lane – and an offhand joke solidified his stage name: The Real Doug Lane. In 2020, Doug released his first album "Water From the Stone" and followed up in 2022 with "Pocket Full of Pills".
Doug was raised in Kingsville, Texas, in the shadow of King Ranch. His father was a Navy officer and his mother was amazing. He served four years in the Army and ended his contract honorably -- always thankful for the experience, and glad when it ended. Doug currently resides in Provo, Utah with his wife, their four children, Dodger the Boxer, and Oliver the cat.
