We host unique events, such as our Art of Doll Collecting Workshops that focus on fashion dolls like Barbie, and American Girl themed parties alongside with our Horror Doll Workshops and Haunted exhibits. We can help you host tea parties, summer wine soirees and arts and craft parties for kids and adults.
We also sell unique dolls, books and gifts. We try to work with anyone and any budget. We are a pop up museum and events service.

The Black Doll & Toy Museum welcomes everyone! Our collection celebrates the wonderful diversity of dolls and childhood, featuring Black dolls alongside dolls representing a wide range of racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. We provide inclusive, family-friendly experiences for all guests and work with schools, families, community organizations, corporations, museums, senior communities and private event hosts.
The Art of Doll Collecting combines collecting, history, fashion, storytelling, creativity and preservation in engaging experiences designed for children, teens and adults.
The Texas Black Doll & Toy Museum presents The Art of Doll Collecting, an educational and entertaining experience celebrating dolls, toys, history, culture, collecting and preservation. Founded by Cathy Runnels, a collector with more than 25 years of collecting and sharing the fun of doll collecting with the all ages!
Programs include hands-on doll collecting workshops, mini retreats, luxury doll retreats, tea parties, cultural exhibits and customized educational experiences for youth and adults.
