The Perry Bakalos Group

Perry and his group were truly magnificent this past Saturday at our wedding. We hired them in 2020 after getting engaged and waited the two years till the big day. We knew we wanted a dj for the dancing portion but we wanted that live band element as well! We decided on a hybrid approach, Hiring one of Perrys recommendations and band mates for the ceremony music, then the rest of the group for cocktail hr and dinner. Over the two year wait, We had many email encounters and went to hear Perry live at one of his other gigs. Perry stayed in constant communication with me, answering all my questions about logistics!

We wanted our guests to have something lighthearted and easygoing during cocktail hr and dinner. Perry and his group did just that! Not to mention the fact that they didn't blink an eye when dinner ran an hr longer than anticipated! They were incredibly friendly and our guests loved their style! Highly recommend if your looking for something special for your big day!

The Perry Bakalos Group is the real deal. Perry and his guys performed for our low key wedding in September, 2020 in Manchester-by-the-Sea and the second the first note was played, they were the life of the party. Perry was so communicative leading up to the big day – he took some song suggestions and ran with them. We selected Perry’s band because of their flow and style we heard in some of the YouTube recordings, but in-person they were even better! With the jam/funk/jazz style, we selected Perry’s group for our COVID-safe wedding to avoid an over-crowded dance floor and group sing-alongs and it worked perfectly. The band kept people on their feet and allowed everyone to space out to dance along. Reggie (the band’s vocalist) was a hit! – he kept the guests entertained and did not miss a beat in his spoken word style lyrics. The unique-ness of the Perry Bakalos group made our wedding an evening nobody will forget. We cannot wait for Perry and the guys to start up again at bars, so we can jam out.
