I hosted a surprise birthday party for my father and coordinated with the Penny Loafer to provide waitservice for the event. I was very specific about needing a company that would be able to professionally handle everything from start to finish allowing me to enjoy the party and interact with guests. Penny and Darwin did just that!!! They were on time, discussed with me my needs for the evening so that they were clear on how to handle everything, and even gave us a complimentary loaf of bread (which was delicious). They were polite, engaging, and very helpful to my guests. They made sure everything was cleaned up and packed up to be loaded in the cars at the end of the night. I have two upcoming events that I will be looking to book with them to handle the waitservice. I added a couple of photos below. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo with them... but next time!

What to Expect
It is of utmost importance to us to get to know each client's desires and expectations. We ensure that the objectives are clear by communicating via email and text and help each client to understand what to expect from us, just as it is equally as important to know what to expect from our client. We communicate very closely through the entire process and confirmations are provided throughout in order to capture the essence of the event so we can deliver the client's vision. Subsequently, post event communication is standard so we know how we did and what we might consider in the future.

The Penny Loafer started with a baker, Darwin Rodgers, and a cook, Penny Hock, who both sought to find the classic values in customer service in hospitality. They wanted to provide hand crafted products and incomparable service to every customer regardless of the setting so they took the love of what they do and added a personal touch that caters to the desires and needs of each and every client.
Penny leads the Event Assistance Services and manages Marketing and Social Media. Penny found her footing in the kitchen when she began her career in hospitality at the age of 16 as a grill cook at McDonalds, which turned out to be one of her favorite jobs. Through many influences, Penny has become a studious and creative cook and enjoys working events where she shines as well as conducting new experiments and making new discoveries every day in her own kitchen.
Darwin leads Baking Services and Event Preparation, and is the brainchild of the Thank You Bread for all new clients. He has been baking in his professional career for over thirty years and has spent his career in many capacities in and around the kitchen making his skills and expertise crucial for The Penny Loafer. His attention to detail when he bakes is untouchable as he brings class to the classics and shows his strong perfectionist personality through his creations.
As an evergrowing trend, Wait Staff services has become our most popular service available. It’s made a big difference for many of our customers and is provided with the highest level of excellence. With this service, we ensure all details are simple, seamless and handled in a timely manner. Meal delivery service is becoming a popular trend as well and has been essential for families on the go, elderly independent living, office meetings, or last minute gatherings with unexpected guests. For those who need bites for a last minute party, a regular delivery, or want a great meal without the fuss or stress of cooking, we have several menu items as well as a subscription service for regular deliveries of baked goods, desserts, and even coffee.
The Penny Loafer opened as masters of the craft and has never wavered from the commitment to quality products, exceptional services and tailored customer care that keeps clients coming back again and again.
