J. Black (The Party Man)

I live in Canada and wanted a unique experience for my sister (who was turning 50). I came across J. Black on Gig Salad. I watched some of his YT videos and thought his voice was very nice and his performance was soulful. I asked via Gig Salad J. if he would come to my sister's door and sing "Happy Birthday" and "Celebrate." He was very quick to respond positively. On my sister's big day, J. arrived at her door. She was so surprised! The neighbors came out to watch... she says "it was the most amazing and special birthday present ever!" J. did a great job, very professional and talented. My family is so impressed with the video he sent. If I get down to Sac to see my family, we are thinking of hiring J. for a house party. Thank you J!

Black (The Party Man) played at our corporate event in San Jose, CA and he was the hit of the weeklong event!! I was looking for an upbeat entertainer who would interact with our mixed bag of corporate employees and before the night was done he had our VP of Sales out on the dance floor. His show is as varied as the people in the room and he can play music that represents several decades. His dynamic act will appeal to anybody who loves to get out there and dance! Our favorites were the tunes of the 80's, but he played everything that we requested right up to current hits. We literally danced the night away! As an event planner, I was thrilled with how J Black interacted and connected with each and every person that was in that room. J brings everything he needs to produce an energetic act with a club-like setting, changing our small card room into what felt like a bustling night club - lighting and fun all inclusive. All I heard the next day was how great J. was and how much fun he injected in our corporate meeting. J is professional, responsive and very people oriented. The hotel staff liked him so much that he has been added to their referral base for future guests looking for excellent entertainment for their events. If you want an excellent show that includes exceptional, professional talent to liven up your event then J. Black (The Party Man) is the one. I can't wait to have another opportunity to work with J. Black!

My sister, who was turning 53 is confined to a nursing home. It’s been hard because someone her age should be out enjoying their lives. We tried to think of how to still make her feel special and decided to throw her a surprise party. J-Black first of all was so kind and sang all her favorite songs BEAUTIFULLY. He even gave her flowers when singing “When I was Your Man”. The smile on her face was priceless. Thank you J Black for everything!

J. Black was a perfect selection as a surprise birthday performer for a senior leader during a corporate meeting...I couldn't have asked for better! We needed just the right person to be sensitive to the time and meeting event since it was in a corporate space. But it was definitely a great hit amongst the staff and not only did the birthday celebrant enjoy it, the entire staff did!

It was the greatest experience…. !!! J. Black worked thoroughly in all the details we asked for and he is a great performer, great singer with unique voice and a very amazing guy !!! I recommend him a lot !!!
