The Palovations
Overview
Inspired by early Motown legends of the '60s and '70s and R&B artist of the 70s and 80s, The Palovations grew up in the rapture of the music from that time. They have cultivated their silky-smooth vocals to bring you one of the best sounds in Baltimore. Event prices range from $500-$5,000.

October 23, 2016Never Disappoints - A Standing Ovation for the Palovations!
At a time when real music seems to have lost its meaning, along comes this incredible group! Their creative showmanship and mellow sounds reminds you of the good old days when music was all about love. You'll never be disappointed and will want to give a standing ovation to the Palivations!!

Influences and inspiration
The Temptations, Four Tops, Tower Of Power, Bruno Mars, Sam Cooke, Lionel Richie, Classic R & B '60s to The Present; A Capello Music, Pure Harmony; we have all been influence by Church Hymns, Gospel Music, and a couple of us have sung in Barber Shop Quartets, We have all Performed in Musicals as well as Theatrical Performances such as The Motown Story, The Cab Calloway Story, Ain't Misbehaving, High Button Shoes, West Side Story, A Raisin In The Sun to name a few; We enjoy making people happy with our music, allowing the listener to reminisce of the good ole days while escaping the daily grind. When we see smiles on the faces of the audience, and hear, "Oh yeah, that's my jam" we feel like we are doing something right. The Maturity in our voices are a perfect match and pleasing to the listeners senses a la Brook Benton, David Ruffin, Dennis Edwards, Eddie Kendricks, of the Temptations, James Dunn of the Stylistics, and Larry Braggs of Tower Of Power. We humbly believe if you close your eyes and listen to our music, you will be transported to a time when Music was Music and Harmonies were Smooth and Robust resonating in our spirits. These are just a few of our influences.
