Overview

Brooks shares his own transformative experience. In 2011 he got very sick from his clutter busting work. The doctors said the only way to survive was to get a a double-lung transplant. Eventually he was so sick that he couldn’t get out of bed, and was dependent on supplemental oxygen.

It came to him that he was the life in the body, not the body. He was the life flowing through him. The aliveness. This realization brought him great relief. On June 28th, 2013, he received a double-lung transplant. Ten years later, he still feels the overwhelming presence of life. He now gives talks to share the experience of aliveness with others.
