Michael, born and raised in South Florida, delivers fiery guitar work with a bluesy Southern twist. Miguel, originally from Caracas, Venezuela, holds down the low end with Latin-infused bass lines that add a rich rhythmic layer to the band’s classic Americana sound.

Their musical connection was instant—after jamming on just three chords together in December 2016, they knew they had something special. By January 2017, **The Michael Marotta Band** was born, kicking things off as a cover band in Fort Lauderdale’s local club scene, performing rock classics from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

As the band evolved, so did its lineup. In 2020, powerhouse drummer **Karla Soto**, from Maracaibo, Venezuela, joined the group, locking in the groove and bringing an explosive, high-energy dynamic behind the kit. Around the same time, legendary guitarist **Chuck Kirkpatrick** came on board as rhythm guitarist, adding his rich experience and signature tone to the mix.
