The Melting Pot Band is an 8 piece R&B show band that specializes in classic, "old school", rhythm and blues from the 60s, 70s, and 80s! Pieces include: Drums, Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar, Keyboard, Trumpet, Sax, and 2 Female Vocalists. We are unique due to our emphasis in making sure we do not use vulgar or derogatory lyrics in our music. Yet our melodies and rhythums will have you taping your feet and grooving the night away. We don't phake the phunk! Our groove WILL make you move! So, if you are looking for some clean, phunky music from back in tha day! April 26, 2015The Melting Pot Band....at it again....stirring up excitement....causing spontaneous dance combustion. I was just there to support my brother on the keys, and they infected me with the "can't help it's" and I started jammin. Stay away from this band. They are armed and highly groovy with phunk. Be on the lookout. If you have any leads on their whereabouts use caution....DO NOT TIP them or else they play 3 times better and longer....and become more contagious

April 25, 2015I throughly enjoyed myself last night. Talk about bringing back memories of where i when I first heard that song, or I remember who my boyfriend was when I heard that one and so on! The members of the band are so personable. The crisp and smooth sounds of the singers and musicians are phenomenal! Just sit back, close your eyes and groove, or get up on the floor and boogey oogey oogey till you just can't boogey no more! Looking forward to the next time!

She said I love some old school music . I told her your music is next to the real music artist. Alwanda, I told my friend you all put your hearts into your music. March 20, 2014When I first heard this band play it was "music to my ears". The atmosphere they set is exactly what Nashville need more of. Very tasteful sounds that everybody could enjoy! I heard songs that took me "back to the good ole days".The band members are a so laid back and I loved them so much I had to book them for my event. And I encourage you to check them out.
