The Luke Bielfeldt Quartet

We provide a variety of musical services. If you are looking for swing-era jazz, cool jazz, smooth jazz, funk, soul, R&B, latin, western-swing, or any combination of those genres, we can provide it with a high standard of excellence. We are happy to play set-lists or songs requested by an event planner. We also have a large repertoire we can draw from in response to audience requests. We can provide a silky backdrop to any event, and we can also put on a show replete with humor and excitement depending on what the event calls for.

The Luke Bielfeldt started with a group of musicians living in Denton, Texas who decided to collaborate over a shared love of classic jazz and soul music. Since then, with Luke at the helm singing and playing trombone, we have sought out every opportunity to share our music with the world. Our drummer, Ashton Weigel, provides the basis and the beat over which our bassist, Henry Peyrebrune, lays the foundation and the groove. Our pianist, Al Lesieutre, provides the sweet and luscious harmonies over which Luke sings and plays each soaring melody.

Our only requirement is a reliable source of power. We bring our own extension cords so as long as there is an outlet somewhere on-site, we are ready to go. In terms of space, we are relatively compact and we haven't yet found a stage that we can't fit onto!
