My fascination with magic began when I was eight years old, after receiving my first magic kit for Christmas. From there, I read every magic book I could find, visited magic shops, collected props, and learned from a local magician. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong passion.
Today, I specialize in personal, close-up magic using coins, money, cards, and familiar objects. I love creating moments that happen right in my guests’ hands—moments of surprise, laughter, and genuine connection. I perform for corporate gatherings, private celebrations, nonprofit events, and select family occasions throughout Dallas–Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
My goal is simple: to help guests feel comfortable, engaged, and included while giving them something memorable to share long after the event. I adapt each performance to the people, setting, and flow of the occasion so the magic feels natural and personal.
My commitment to others also extends throughout his community, serving in leadership roles with Rotary, the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce, and veterans’ organizations. The Luette Magic Experience is more than a performance; it is personal, engaging magic designed to bring people together.
I am proud to be part of the Society of American Magicians, the Texas Association of Magicians, Dallas Magic Club and Magic Mastery. These connections keep me learning, growing, and bringing new ideas to every performance.
Generally for most performances, depending on the size of the audience a lapel microphone and sound system. Sound system would be good to be able to play digital music for some events. I would need an area to set up a table for closeup table magic where different groups come by or for a performance of 30 to 50 people. Larger events no problem as well. Each performance is customized to the event.
I have been influenced by several outstanding magicians from different eras. Dai Vernon’s natural approach and attention to detail helped define modern close-up magic, while David Roth’s creativity and mastery of coin magic have been especially influential to me. Michael Ammar’s polished presentations and clear thinking demonstrate how strong technique can be combined with an engaging personality.
I also admire Eugene Burger for his thoughtful presentations and belief that magic should create a meaningful experience for the audience. David Copperfield’s storytelling shows how emotion can elevate an illusion, while David Blaine’s direct, up-close style demonstrates the power of allowing genuine audience reactions to become part of the performance. Each of these performers has influenced how I think about technique, presentation, audience involvement, and creating a genuine sense of wonder.
