My husband and I had high expectations for what we wanted out of a live music performance at our wedding- after meeting with Andy we were confident he would make us happy, but after our wedding we were absolutely blown away! Andy and his band gave us such an amazing performance all night! We haven't stopped talking about how great they did, and the number one response we get from our guests is how amazing the music was. Communication with Andy was so easy, he was quickly responsive to everything, and his experience showed in how well he guided our conversations even when my husband and I were a bit jumbled.
Andy set the tone with a three piece string band playing instrumental music for over two hundred guests as they arrived and found their seating. Our ceremony music was everything I've ever dreamed it would be and more. After the ceremony, they kept guests in elevated spirits and their musical talents were the talk of cocktail hour as the partying kicked off. In addition to the music, Andy also handled all the microphone and sound system necessities during the reception. Once dinner had concluded, Andy's instrumental trio transformed into a five piece country/rock band. The band played quite possibly the best live rendition of "Walk the Line" we've ever heard for our first dance, their sound had us swinging so well on the dance floor half our guests were convinced we had taken lessons. Andy and his band kept the dance floor packed with a mix of original music and all time country classics until they concluded their set- the only things we regret are not getting a larger dance floor and booking more time!
All in all we could not have asked for anything more to help make our wedding night better than a dream and would highly recommend Andy Lentz for any size venue needing some quality live music!

Andy was a phenomenal violinist at our wedding in Mendocino. We had a pretty demanding environment to play in; top of a hill with a ton of wind coming across the ceremony site. He absolutely nailed all the special song requests we had while our guests were getting ready, including some obscure ones. After our ceremony was finished, Andy led our wedding party down the hill to our reception site; all while still playing in excellent form. We were really impressed with his professionalism and skill. My wife and I both feel that Andy really added a special musical layer to our ceremony and cocktail hour; one that would have been hard to replicate. We would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Andy did a great job at our wedding. He crafted a list of songs that was a perfect fit for each part of our celebration. His playing was wonderful! I appreciated his being very organized and professional from start to finish.

Andy Lentz is a true professional and excellent musician. We hired Andy to play fiddle music for our club's dinner event which had a western theme. Prior to the event, Andy was in touch with me about the music selections he would play and how loud he should play since this was a large venue with many guests. He delivered exactly what we hoped for and throughout the evening many guests commented on how much they enjoyed his music. He gauged the amplification of his music perfectly so that he could be heard as background music without being too loud. He arrived promptly for the event, set up easily, and played continuously without taking major breaks. Andy was very easy to work with, understood what we were looking for and delivered perfectly. I would highly recommend Andy and would definitely hire him again for a future event.

We were all over the map in the beginning while working with Andy and he was very patient with us listening to all the direction we gave him and delivering exactly what we wanted in the end. He recorded many samples for us so we could hear what our song choices would sound like on a fiddle and guitar. This was super helpful in guiding us to craft the perfect music for our ceremony. On the wedding day, Andy and his accompanying guitar player delivered perfectly on the sound and vibe we were hoping for to add that unique touch to our ceremony.
