Five very talented impersonators in the name of Thomas Jefferson, Albert Gallatin, James Madison and Benjamin Franklin.
Our students were gobsmacked seeing Dr. Franklin and Mr. Jefferson walking around their school. They enjoyed listening to their stories and messages. Dr. Franklin imparted a very important message to our young students, "Read, Play Games, and Ask Questions!" Mr. Jefferson ignited interest in many different areas as he shared his wisdom of agriculture, topography, games of skill, history and so much more. Laughter and smiles filled the hallways on this very special day as our students were transported back to Colonial times and engaged with two of our founding fathers.
Response from The League of Most Interesting Gentlemen:
Sharon I fully concur with Tom. I, too had a wonderful time at Sandy Creek Elementary school and I’m not sure that I didn’t learn more than your students - certainly about Nebraska and your wonderful brand of education. It was super! Thank you for the opportunity to meet you, the staff and the wonderful students.
