About

THE INFAMOUS CRACKHEAD

I was born on the eastside of Detroit. As a child I was very active in school as far as sports and music, entering school talent shows, plays, and playing instruments. Growing up it was a little difficult with having dyslexia and at that point I was afraid of not succeeding in school, so I became more and more interested in my music. With my music I felt “I can’t fail”.

I joined my grandfather’s gospel choir at his church and that’s when my mother started to see I wanted to do music. On my 14th birthday she brought me my first set of turntables (my wheels of steel). I began the first part spinning with a few friends at house parties, cabarets, and clubs. DJ Power D and High Power System was born.

A very dear friend Bear (RIP) introduced me to rapping. From there spawned a DJ, producer, beat maker, and lyricist. I had taken some time to travel to NY, L.A., Chicago, and Canada checking out the different music scenes. That demonstrated to me that I wanted to bring my own style of difficult vibes and banging beats to the music industry.

I truly feel alive when I’m doing my music. Creating a beat it’s like I’m in another world. Each beat and rhyme I made is a total part of my past, present, and future. My future plans is to own my own recording and production company in my hometown.

I would like to give a special shout out to my team member Kevin at the Underground Studio. Vic a.k.a. Complete Artist/Chronic Kid, P. Storm of Charlie Charlie Productions, and my brother Boodang of Video Shop. Mad props to my people and love. And all my fans and new fans.
