A Chinese-Kiwi musician based in New York, Elvina has built her career by ignoring the lines that traditionally separate genres, audiences, and artistic worlds. Equally at home performing classical masterworks, cinematic soundtracks, improvisation, contemporary music, and crossover collaborations, she brings a rare combination of virtuosity, charisma, and storytelling to every stage she steps onto.

Inspired to play violin after hearing a live performance of The Lark Ascending as a child, Elvina made her solo orchestral debut before an audience of more than one thousand people just a year after picking up the instrument. Yet it wasn't technical perfection that ultimately shaped her artistic path – it was the realization that the performances people remember most are the ones that make them feel something.
