The Lamplight Singers is a Christmas caroling group that performs in the Northern Illinois/Fox Valley area. They perform in full Victorian costume at a variety of holiday events throughout the Christmas season. Each member of the quartet has many years of performance experience and is at home in front of an audience. They have a particularly beautiful blend as well as a passion for delivering the message of the Christmas season through the beautiful lyrics of long-loved carols and songs. The Lamplight Singers adds charm and fun to any Christmas gathering – indoors or out! Please note, booking of distances greater than 60 miles will require an additional travel fee.

January 3, 2018The Lamplight Singers have been performing at the Sandwich Park District Festival of Trees and Holiday Lane Craft Show for 9 years. It is the highlight of the weekend as they stroll the hotel and convention center performing for all of the booth holders and attendees. Their traditional costumes and beautiful harmonies are truly beautiful. I look forward to them joining our festive weekend again next year!

We are a small ensemble (singing as either a trio or a quartet) whose features are our Victorian/Dickensian costumes and strongly blended harmonies. We can sing on the periphery of your event (strolling throughout without being the center) for a lovely holiday ambiance, or we can perform as a featured, concert-type group including some fun narration and friendly interaction with the audience. The Lamplight Singers is a Christmas caroling quartet that performs in the Northern Illinois/Fox Valley area. 2025 will be the group's 20th season together and they have become a traditional part of several area holiday celebrations.
Looking like they stepped out of a Dickens tale, in full Victorian costume, they perform at a variety of holiday events throughout the Christmas season; from town square celebrations to private Christmas parties; singing in front of a fireplace in a Victorian mansion to beneath a lamp post ankle-deep in snow! Each member of the quartet has many years of performance experience and is at home in front of an audience. Their voices blend beautifully and they have a particular passion for delivering the message of the Christmas season through the beautiful lyrics of long-loved carols and songs.
The Lamplight Singers add charm and fun to any Christmas gathering – indoors or out!
We are an acapella group and generally do not require amplification (microphones). If a venue requires us to be amplified, we would not provide equipment. We would request either 4 unidirectional microphones or one omnidirectional or choir microphone.
