The Kringle Way

You can expect a jolly old St. Nick. Seriously, I love playing with kids. I love to get right down on the floor, if necessary, and play a game or ask them to tell a story. I'm gregarious and fun and I know how to entertain. And based on all the positive feedback I've received from my events, I look and play the part quite well. If you are hosting an adult party, I mingle and converse well and enjoy meeting new people. In my personal like, giving is my love language, so having the opportunity to hand out gifts is something I really enjoy.

I'm 52 years old and have been married to my wonderful wife for 26 years. We have two grown sons who live close to home and we spend lots of great family time together. As a family we love the holidays, and especially enjoy Christmas. We love to decorate and entertain through the holidays. Being a Santa happened completely by accident. I purchased a Santa suit some years ago to surprise and entertain our Scout Troup that I was the Scoutmaster for at the time. A couple of years after that I participated in the Salvation Army bell ringing along with my Bellingham Rotary group. That developed into volunteering to play Santa for the Bellingham Boys and Girls Club. A person who knew me from the Bellingham Golf and Country Club heard about my Santa gig at the Boys and Girls Club and asked if I would consider being the Santa for the country club event. I agreed. That was last year. This past year was the first time in my life to grow my beard all year. I have really enjoyed the role and I love seeing kids faces when they can sit right next to me and look at my face so close. The amazement in their eyes is captivating. I've spent my adult life volunteering for many kids organizations along with my own kids involvement. Now that my sons are grown, this has become my own little fun gig. I have no requirements, however I would always recommend the hiring of a professional photographer. Their expertise in setting up lighting and taking quality photos allows you to really capture all of the best moments.
