About

Vince "Kazi" McCoy is a versatile drummer who has been performing in various bands playing many different genres. Kazi studied jazz at Hunter College under the tutelage of Dr. Anthony Branker. Kazi has been leading his own jazz band since 1997. He also has been organizing and performing in an annual jazz benefit concert in the Caribbean country of Antigua and Barbuda for well over 6 years. Proceeds from this concert go to the St. John Hospice. Kazi is also an adjunct professor at York College CUNY in Queens NY.
