Overview
I am a guitarist and a singer. I use backing tracks to play & sing over. These are not midi tracks, they sound like the original records with horns, strings, percussion, backing vocals as well as harmony guitar parts on some songs. In my song list I have songs that include songs by such diverse artists as Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Eric Johnson, ZZ Top, Prince, The Allman Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Santana, Steve Vai, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Deep Purple and many more. Styles include Rock, Fusion, Blues, Jazz, Big Band and Originals.

What to expect
If someone came to see me they would see and hear very strong impassioned renditions of some of their favorite bands. When I perform I use my many years of experience to perceive what styles of music will work for that particular crowd. Whether it's dancing crowd or a listening crowd I have all styles to fit the event. I can present it with a roar or a whisper with the flick of a fader.
I use a wireless guitar system and a wireless microphone system so that I am able to walk through the audience and play for different tables.
About
Guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, guitar teacher, Joe Mack has a history of performing in a variety of situations for over 40 yrs.
His musical travels have taken him across the US, Canada, the Carribean as well as England where he performed with Gail Moran-Corea (Chick Corea’s wife) and also Hossam Ramzy (Page & Plant, Peter Gabriel, the Rolling Stones and many others.)
He’s also appeared onstage with “guitar wizard” Steve Vai, as his guest, the legendary, Les Paul at the Iridium Club in New York City, bluesman Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson as well as opening for the amazing Johnny Winter.
The Joe Mack Solo Act covers famous guitarists such as:
Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Satriani, Richie Blackmore, Larry Carlton, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson the Allman Brothers and many others and also original music.
What makes this act unique is that Joe is the only guitarist in the area covering these kinds of songs by these masters.
Joe performs with a wireless guitar and wireless headset which enables him to walk among your patrons while playing and singing. Whether he’s playing slide with a beer bottle, or playing behind his head, the audience eats it up.

Influences and inspiration
As a kid growing up I was influenced by guys like Roy Clark, Chet Atkins. Then along came Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Gary Moore, Tommy Iomme, Hound Dog Taylor, B.B. King, TBone Walker, Scotty Moore, Cliff Gallop, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Robben Ford, Bret Mason, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, Cream, The Beatles, Kinks, Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Prince, Deep Purple and the list goes on and on.
