I hired Tom from the J.M. Chamber Players to perform a solo viola recital at my outdoor wedding. Tom is an agreeable, Yale trained, pitch-perfect professional. He gave a virtuoso rendition of selections from Bach, Mozart, Beethoven in an unobtrusive manner, played abbreviated versions of standard themes on cue, and his viola sounded sweeter by itself than a cello or quartet. We are reasonably sophisticated chamber music enthusiasts and were very pleased by the tonality and phrasing of Tom's playing. I endorse him without reservation to add class and joy to allow your event to sparkle. – John, New York, NY
