The Improbubble Poppy!

Poppy offers two main services, but is very happy to work with clients on other formats!

Bubble Performance:
An engaging performance creating bubbles big and small with Poppy’s various gadgets and gizmos accompanied by music, dancing, and lots of interaction. With a plethora of tools at her disposal, suds of all sizes from frothy foam to brobdingnagian* bubbles will fill the air, mingling with the gasps and laughter of all in attendance!

Ambient Bubbling
Create an atmosphere of whimsy or ethereal delight with bubbles floating through your event! A more “casual” bubble experience, Poppy can act as background ambiance, as well as chat and interact directly with guests. Give her a place to make her bubbly home, or have her wander freely, and see what bubble magic follows in her wake!

*Brobdingnagian: Giant. Made up by Jonathan Swift in Gulliver’s Travels, Brobdingnagian is the opposite of Lilliputian. One of Poppy’s favorite words!

From Shakespeare to clowning, Poppy has been performing in one form or another all of their life. She’s been making giant bubble contraptions since she was a kid, and is thrilled to be sharing the joy with others! Her ultimate goal is to spread whimsy and joy, and celebrate the healing power of play. Under the tutelage of the amazing Bubble McGee, they have honed their bubbling skills to bring the biggest, bounciest, beautiful bubbles to you. Poppy (secret identity Alzi King) has a BFA in Theater from Emerson College, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University, with a focus on play therapy and drama therapy for children and adults alike.

All Poppy needs is a space to perform! The show works best outdoors or in large spaces, but these things are flexible
