The Illuminated Harpist

Given the fact that Gabrielle only has five star reviews, my husband and I write this review with somewhat of a heavy heart.

We really wanted to love this experience because having a harpist play at our wedding was something we were very excited about. She was kind and pleasant to work with, and there were definitely songs that sounded beautiful and were flawless.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the overall consistency of the performance. Given the price, we had hoped for a more polished performance, especially for such an important day. We felt there were many instances where mistakes were made repeatedly, and the most difficult moment for me was hearing mistakes during the song I had specifically requested for my walk down the aisle. That was a particularly meaningful moment, so it was hard not to feel somewhat disappointed.

We completely understand that live music isn't always going to be perfect, and we truly appreciate the time and effort that goes into performing at a wedding. At the same time, given the cost and the importance of the occasion, we felt that the performance sometimes fell short of what we had hoped for.

UPDATE: After posting our review, Gabrielle reached out to us personally and sincerely apologized. We appreciated her taking the time to acknowledge our concerns, and we responded to her with the same kindness and understanding. Our review was never intended to diminish the work she has done for other couples, especially given that she has many wonderful reviews. We simply wanted to share our honest experience. We wish her continued future success.

Gabrielle did an incredible job, and beyond exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with her. She is very communicative, friendly, punctual, and talented! I would highly recommend working with Gabrielle, she has such a gift and she is such a pleasure to work with!

I was amazed by how beautiful Gabriella's performance was. It was elegant and perfectly played. Every time I entered the galleries and heard her play, it brought tears to my eyes. She was such a special addition to our event - our guests loved her. If you're considering a harpist, she is the one to book!

Gabrielle played beautifully, and provided the tone for our event. Also, she was such a pleasure to work with. My only regret is that I wanted to give her six stars instead of five. (The system wouldn’t let me.). I whole heartedly recommend Gabrielle for your next event! Well worth it!!!
