Overview

Gypsy jazz, also known as “jazz manouche,” is a vibrant and dynamic genre that originated in the 1930s among the Romani community in France, notably popularized by the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt. The Hot Club of Reading blends this style with early New Orleans "Hot Jazz" creating a captivating sound that is both lively and soulful.
Join Pennsylvania's premier Gypsy Jazz band featuring Josiah Taylor on guitar, Josh Taylor on guitar, Chris Heslop on saxophones and clarinet, Ken Gehret on accordion, violin, and vocals, and Trey LaRue on bass.
The Ensemble is able to perform as a Duo, Trio, Quartet, or Quintet.
