August 27, 2016We were extremely pleased to work with the Hipshot Band for our combination anniversary and birthday party for about 90 people. The event was held in a hillside country location in rural Vermont under a tent with a generator. Rain, thunder, and lightening added to the drama but didn't dampen their performance. The Hipshot Band worked closely with us on the song list which included a range of funk and R&B tunes for nonstop dancing. They travelled far, set up on time and gave us a tremendous 4 hour show. They're great folks to work with. We and all our guests thought they were a great part of our wonderful successful event. Their costs were very reasonable -- great value. Our highest recommendation (but you'll have to compete with some of our guests to book them)

Their energy was fantastic, the dance floor was packed from the first to the last song. The party was so good, you couldn't even leave the dance floor for a minute. They are all great musicians and played fantastic. They definitely more than exceeded our expectations. Thank you Hipshot Band for turning our wedding into the best party ever!!

April 5, 2016If it weren’t for Hipshot, our wedding would have been a lot less fun. We had a great wedding with beautiful weather and wonderful people surrounding us. But the band…good grief, Hipshot was amazing. Our wedding guests ranged in age from 18 to 78 – and everyone danced. This to me is a real testament to Hipshot’s talent – they have a way of getting people up and dancing, regardless of age.
We held a brunch the morning after the wedding for out-of-town guests, and every person who approached me told me they loved the band. I knew Hipshot was special and was so happy to be able to share their talent with all my favorite people in the world. Hiring them for our wedding was by far the best vendor decision we made. They were fantastic every step of the way, from initial inquiries to the final set.
If you want a wedding with incredible music that your friends and family will remember for years, hire this band! I guarantee you will be so glad you did!

Thank you so very much! It was a pleasure to be a part of such a beautiful event. I have to say, that we had just as much fun if not more than the guests. I remember we had the crowd doing the Electric Slide to Brick House and we played for nearly 2 hours straight with no breaks..NOW THAT WAS FUN!!Everyone was so wonderful and they really enjoyed themselves. We kept it going until the venue finally said we had to stop and then we sang along to recorded music while we packed up and the wait staff were cleaning.
IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT! Thank you again for hiring us and having us share in your special day.
