"The Hilarious" Chris Cherry

A client/audience member can expect professionalism, a great show, and lots of laughs throughout my performance. My material is family friendly and is great for any venue such as comedy clubs, corporate events, church functions, concert events, etc. I take pride in my talent and I love entertaining.

“The Hilarious” Chris Cherry, a native of Jackson, Tennessee, who now resides in Nashville, has been rocking crowds and keeping audiences on the edge of their seats since 2008. With his smooth delivery, lovable charisma, and his stellar ability to make his jokes come to life, he has performed at countless comedy clubs around the country.

It all began while sitting in his dorm room at Tennessee State University laughing with friends and looking over one of his failed tests, when Chris jokingly said “I might as well drop out and become an entertainer.” And with encouragement from his peers, he put down the books for a moment and picked up a microphone putting his comedic ability to use. Shortly afterwards, Chris was introduced to the historic Zanies Comedy Club where he had his first performance and stunningly blew the crowd away leaving several audience members calling his performance “hilarious,” launching his career and his journey on the road to stardom. He has not looked back since.

Over the past few years, Chris has been fortunate enough to have performed with many comedians seen on BET’s Comic View, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, and Comedy Central. He has been compared to many comedy greats such as Sinbad, Lavell Crawford, and Rickey Smiley and has recently been offered his own segment on local radio. Chris is still knocking socks off of audiences around the world and with his “hilarious” stage presence he is soon to be a household name. It only takes one time to see “The Hilarious” Chris Cherry perform. He will instantly become one of your favorite comics and you will agree that he is destined to become one of the best comedians to ever grace the stage.
