The Heartstrings are probably unlike any other Nashville band you've ever heard of. You won't find them playing covers down on Broadway or hustling for tips on Music Row. You're more likely to find them tucked in the corner of a bar leading a fiddle session, collecting tunes from old 78 recordings, or playing a square dance for hundreds of guests at their favorite farm.
This band is led by award-winning old time guitarist and country singer Liz Pickard, who brings together some of the most acclaimed musicians in their genre. Members of the Heartstings have been playing together in some form or another for over 10 years, and it shows. They play with confidence and fluidity that only comes from many years of comradery and practice.
