Overview

The Jazz Arts Duo performs the greatest jazz, swing, and Latin jazz music of the past century. Whether your event is black tie or blue jeans, our exciting and elegant music, expertly played through a state-of-the-art sound system, will set the perfect mood for your next reception, cocktail party, concert, or intimate gathering.

The Jazz Arts Duo is available as either bass and guitar or two guitars, and is modeled on the great bass/guitar duos of Joe Pass and Nils Pederson and the legendary guitar duos featuring Eddie Lang, Django Reinhardt, and Herb Ellis. Both versions perform a wide range of beautiful, thrilling, and romantic jazz. Let us know what we can play for you.

This is a super professional act.

If you want to add some sophisticated class to your event these are the guys. They turned our event into a 5 star experience the minute they started to play.

Guitar Arts Duo was wonderful. Highly recommended.

I hired the Guitar Arts Duo for a cocktail party, and they were wonderful. Outstanding musicians and so easy to work with. The music is lovely and lively, but it stays in the background. They were quick to respond to all of my questions and professional throughout my dealings with them. Highly recommended.

Excellent and sophisticated music

This is the second time we engaged the Jazz Arts Duo for a party. They were excellent! John and Marcel kept the music interesting. Our guests, many of whom were affiliated with the musical arts, thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I will engage the Jazz Arts Due again when we can.

Hired as: Bossa Nova Band, Jazz Band

Wonderful music

We hosted a 1940s themed party and hired the Jazz Duo (bass and guitar) to provide music for the event. We were so pleased with the quality and variety of music they played! They both were excellent musicians and took their breaks around our schedule. They provided smooth jazz background music during dinner which was perfect. I would highly recommend booking the Jazz Duo and can’t wait to hear them again!

Thanks Pat. It was a pleasure playing for you and your friends. We really love playing music from the 1940s, so your 1940s-themed party was a real treat for us.
