July 26, 2021AWESOME BAND!
These guys played at my family reunion and they were TOTALLY AWESOME. They had excellent follow-up and communications. They arrived on schedule and delivered every detail to our specifications. They interacted with the crowd wonderfully. My daughter recently developed an interest in playing the drums and actually just started lessons. Scott the drummer took sometime to talk to her for a few minutes and that was above and beyond. All the band members were GREAT even the sound guy! I will absolutely use them again.

What to expect
FUN, FUN and More FUN!
You will get a remarkable vocal group providing four part harmony and expert musicality. Understandably you will be seeing one of the best bands in the Midwest.
But what differentiates the band is their interaction with the audience. They engage the viewers immediately and fully let them know that they are going to be a part of The Gas Pump Jockeys performance.
If that is not enough they get to hear a key member of the remarkable band from the early days of rock and roll. Hired by their manager Brian Epstein (the same man that managed The Beatles) Mike Losekamp joined the Cyrkle in support of their worldwide hits "Red Rubber Ball" and "Turn Down Day". The Gas Pump Jockeys perform both of these huge hits and the audience will be most impressed by this incredible musician.
Few acts can provide outstanding music, four part harmonies, two gold record performances, hilarious musical bits, and audience participation. The Gas Pump Jockeys are truly a "Full-Service Band"
About
The Gas Pump Jockeys is the only band that promises "More Songs Per Gallon Than Any Band in North America!". And they back up that claim to the MAX!.
The band provides a fun and entertaining trip back to a day when gasoline was 25 cents/gallon, it was pumped by a gas pump jockey, who also cleaned your windows, checked your oil and tires and gave you green stamps to boot. All while you stayed seated in your car and listened to the greatest songs of all time on your AM radio. The Gas Pump Jockeys help capture that era to the max, by performing on a stage reminiscent of a vintage filling station and they even dress in the same clothes as a gas attendant wore in the day.
If that is not enough, The Gas Pump Jockeys features rock and roll royalty! Mike Losekamp was a member of the amazingly talented band called The Cyrkle, managed by Brian Epstein (The Manager of The Beatles). Epstein guided The Cyrkle to two gold records, including the mega-hit "Red Rubber Ball" The band can say with a straight face that the Gas Pump Jockeys are just two degrees from The Beatles. Very few bands can make that claim.
The Gas Pump Jockeys also features Pat McLoughlin, one of the region's top front man and powerful vocalist. His glib approach to interacting with the audience is remarkable.
And if that is not enough, Roscoe Rousculp is a comes to the band from his 14 year career in a Beatle tribute band in which he impersonated Paul McCartney. He looks like sir Paul, plays bass like Sir Paul and amazingly sings like the infamous Beatle.
In addition to performing some of the greatest rock classics, The Gas Pump Jockeys add a wonderful comedic element to their very energetic performance, guaranteed to make your festival, fair or corporate event a huge success.
And just to "top off the tank", the band encourages their audience to become a major part of their show. You will clap, sing, and laugh away their evening. You just never know what you might see at a GPJ performance.
The Gas Pump Jockeys are truly a "Full Service" band and a "can't miss" show to see. If you are looking for a band that sells FUN. Then you have pulled into the right station.

Influences and inspiration
The Gas Pump Jockeys draw their musical influences from the great bands of the 1960s (The Beatles, The British Invasion Bands, and great American Bands including The Cyrkle given we have a member from that incredible and talented group)
The 1970's (Such as Journey, Steely Dan, and Chicago just to name a few) and
The 1980's (Such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Huey Lewis and the News)
We admire the greats over a three generational period.
