If you want a fun night out and enjoy Garth Brooks, this is the event for you. Just saw him perform in Payson,Arizona and he ROCKED the house. I highly recommend him for ANY event.
Was blown away by Dean's likeness and sound of Garth, swolen hands the next day from clapping and slappin while Dean was all over the stage. Great presence! His wife Kim was also FABULOUS, she does Shania Twain songs and they really work well together. Gonna travel to see them soon!

Dean was the icing on the cake for our client's 40th surprise party. He was fun to work with, open to anything and super talented to boot. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a true Garth Brooks experience. He rocks!
Garth Guy came out to Cali to surprise Donna Jean!! and boy was it a surprise! She was soo shocked when she saw him, she could not contain it. He was so awesome, even my boyfriend who hates country music thought it was awesome and agreed that Dean put on a great show! He was so accommodating with the madness of the day as well. He was the biggest hit at the party! ALL the guest and ESPECIALLY my mom had a blast! Thanks again Dean!

Garth Guy is AMAZING! We booked him to come up for our fundraiser in Calgary, AB and he was phenomenal! He was mingling with the audience and was very involved with everyone that was there. He had the crowd up and dancing all night long! From start to finish, Garth Guy (Dean) was extremely professional and polite. It was a wonderful experience all around and we would love to have him back one day!! Definitely the best and most successful fundraiser we've had to date.

I hired Dean for a Country music event as fundraiser for our Volunteer Fire Dept. To say that the "Thunder Rooled" the night he performed was an understatement. It poured all day but by show time it had cleared and when Dean came on the Thunder Clapped but so did the crowd. The appluase of the audience seemed to drown out the the thunder. Dean is the best at what he does, and he is also personable. His show is one not to be missed. Its filled with energy, and he he sounds and looks so much liek Garth you would swear it was him. Dean Simmons followed the footsteps of his father, uncle and grandfather to a life of performing country music. At seven years old, Dean was strumming his guitar with his father’s band. In the early 1990's he formed the Dean Simmons Band. They performed nightclubs, fairs and festivals all over the Pacific Northwest. They also had the honor of performing for our heroic military servicemen and women at bases all over the Far East, the Caribbean, the South Pacific as well as the US.
By 1992 Garth Brooks was dominating the charts, and Dean found himself loving and learning Garth’s music. After hearing many comments on how remarkably close he sounded on Garth’s songs, Dean set his sights on building an act to pay tribute to this modern country music icon. After extensive study of Garth’s music, concert footage and music videos, not only could he mimic Garth’s music, but he was also able to emulate his mannerisms; the walk, the talk, the laugh, and most importantly, the ability to engage and connect with an audience.
Dean began his career as a Garth Brooks tribute artist in 1994. In ‘96, producer John Stuart discovered and hired him to perform in the world famous "Legends in Concert" in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Atlantic City, and several tours and one-night performances throughout the USA and Canada. Since then, Dean has also produced his own 90-minute "The Garth Guy" show based on Garth's live concerts. He then expanded his offerings by starting his own tribute company, Top Shelf Tributes. TST now represents over 100 of the world's top tribute artists as well as tribute bands and Hollywood lookalikes. Dean has since produced these shows for hundreds of very satisfied clients including casinos, corporate events, universities, fairs, festivals and private parties from coast to coast, as well as overseas.
On Feb 3rd, 2014 Dean Simmons starred on The World's Greatest Tribute Bands on Mark Cuban's network AXS TV. The show was broadcast live around the world as The Garth Guy Show did a one-hour performance from Hollywood's world famous music venue, The Whiskey a Go Go.
