Awesome

We saw them at a weekend long Jazz Festival in Jacksonville, NC. They are amazing, transitions were amazingly crisp. Good blend of styles. Only wish I could find their website to purchase music

About

In late 2009 these four heavily experienced musicians joined hands to produce a laboratory to nurture and develop a unique approach to creating music. Kevin's FROG (Finished Room Over the Garage) became home to this endeavor. The chemistry was immediate and the FROG Project was born. Hip, fresh compositions that can feel immediately familiar, yet carry the listener down many roads on the journey. The FROG Project performs at local and regional jazz festivals and other artistic venues. Sets can also be tailored for special events.

Set list

Most pieces are original compositions. We do, however, also enjoy turning a well-known tune on its head (or at least its side!)

Influences and inspiration

Although we strive for originality, we can't deny the influences of the great musicians that have inspired us over the years...Keith Jarrett, Chic Corea, Wayne Shorter, Miles, The Yellowjackets, Weather Report, Brad Mehldau, The Bad Plus...just to name a few!
