November 4, 2017Created a lot of unnecessary drama
Their music was very good, but it started to rain just prior to our outdoor event. The band leader wanted me to move them indoors, where nobody would hear them, but went back and forth several times about what they were going to do. Then they threated to just leave an hour before the event started. They got me so stressed out and took so much time away from our last minute preparations, everything else got messed up too, abd we never got caught back up. They nearly ruined the whole event. They are not team players, and I wouldn't hire them unless you can guarantee every possibility for them.

The Free Wheelin' Band
Free Wheelin' played the entire event. There was no misunderstanding about where we were going to perform. We were told if it rains we would be inside. When we got to the event, we were told we could not go inside even though the weather forecast was calling for rain all day. We set up outside under a small tent that we provided. Our equipment was getting wet once it started raining and we covered our speakers and expensive equipment with tarps and plastic. We rearranged the band to play under the tent we provided. There really wasn't any drama on our part and as it got closer to the time to start, we were told we to go inside. We had already discussed that earlier. We could not tear down and move inside since we already had everything set up. Unfortunately Dr. Blount did not understand what it takes to set up a whole stage of musical equipment for an event. Dr. Blount used our sound system to make announcements whenever she needed to. The attendees had a great time, enjoyed the music and even a dog danced!
Besides playing great music and being totally professional, we work with our clients to make their event run smoothly always!
