The Foundation II

Our approach can vary from instrumental interpretations of your favorite tunes, to vocal covers of musical hits depending on whether you'd like a vocalist or not. Performances may include jazz solos from one or two of our instrumentalists. We add our own spin to whatever song we play. Most songs consist of jazz, R&B, pop, funk, blues, etc.

The Foundation II is no ordinary band; not just a group of musicians getting together playing for fun; but then, they’re  “just that“!

O.J. Harper (keys), Charles Petteway (bass), Gary Harris (saxophone), Philip Lowman, III (drums) and Reci Reign (vocals) have known and played with each other for over 20 years. Their performance history as a collective speaks for itself. Each individual has had years of experience performing and recording with the likes of:
Blu Cantrell, Otis Redding,  Curtis Mayfield, Jean Carne, Leona Lewis, Simon Cowell, OutKast, X-Scape, Lil Wayne, Joe, Mike Phillips, Hezekiah Walker, Maurette Brown, Kim Waters, Norman Brown, Gerald Albright, Brick, Michelle N’ degeochelo, Silk, The Hawkins Family, Richard Smallwood, Monica, Bow Wow, Cee Low, Tank and many more.

Let’s just say the band has a bit of experience and want to bring it to your stage. Please sit back , bob your head, tap your feet, get up and dance… most importantly, enjoy the live sounds of this Atlanta based Band.
