Fire Fae was forced to perform inside due to the nasty weather but she brought LED lights and was so engaging with the audience, especially the children.

What to expect
I offer a personalized experience meant to excite, entice, and intrigue. The duration of my performance is between 30 - 90 minutes, and includes multiple different props: fire hoops, fire fans, and palm torches. I am a flow artist and dancer, and my fire performances reflect that. I can match the ambiance/vibe of the event, and I'm happy to coordinate with a DJ about music. You can expect me to arrive in performance attire, usually with a second individual acting as my fire safety. Fire safety is a top priority for me, and I will set up a ring of lights that I will perform within, acting as a barrier between me and the crowd. I love to connect with my audience, and oftentimes you'll find me making individualized connections with an audience member (eye contact, expressions, etc.) that leaves a proven memorable experience. I'm a dynamic performer and I can adapt to different locations, situations, and times. My performance cannot be executed inside, and it's usually most effective at or after sunset. You can expect communication with me pre, during, and post event to make sure all operations run smoothly. Clear and kind communication makes any event better!
About
An artist her entire life, Alice found fire spinning in 2019 and hasn't looked back since. Combining intricate tricks and graceful movement, Alice's style can best be described as intuitive flow. Raised in the Washington, DC area, Alice was exposed to a multitude of artistic mediums, icons, and inspiration since she was a child. Playful, dynamic, and committed to community reciprocity, Alice has found deep joy in expressing her love of movement through fire spinning. In 2019, she co-founded Astraea Burners, a local fire spinning collective in the DMV. Hosting monthly "open burns" allowed Alice to step into the role of community tender, creating space for experienced flow artists to connect, and introducing beginners to the beautiful world of fire spinning.
Additional booking notes
Performance Requirements:
- 10 ft minimum circle or designated located to perform in (safety precaution)
- Spin off area and dip station (to be determined by both client and performer)
TIPS N' TRICKS:
- Fire is best at night. Any fire performance will appear that much more mesmerizing after the sun goes down. I'm happy to coordinate with the client about optimal timing.
- Space to move. I can easily perform within a smaller space, but fire is oftentimes more attractive when paired with movement. Give me space to flow and you'll see why!
