About

Building the solo career of singer/songwriter Brian Mac. And the Birth of "the Farm Dogs"
His musical career started in Grammar School. When he bought his first Harmonica at age 8.
Growing up in Northern California, High School Music found him as the Drum Major for 3 years, of one of the largest, 250 members, competing Bands in the State.
He bought his first guitar with paper route money and he quickly learned “Horse With No Name”. There was no stopping him from that point. Writing his first song which remains in his regular playlist today. “Mr. Jack” written July 1st 1978.
While serving in the US Navy aboard the Nuclear Submarine, USS Gurnard SSN662. Brian met many very accomplished musicians. Learning their styles and played appreciative bars in the Philippians, Guam and Japan. With an informal Military Band. Banjos, Acoustic Guitars and Harmonica. With Harmonies reminiscent of CSN&Y, the vocalist brought great attention to the group that performed for Admirals and Officers of the Task Force.
Following the completion of his debut CD/Album "Country Think'n" in 2009 and Music Video "Do I Drive Women Crazy?" He formed the Brian Mac Band. Which toured the Northern States to audiences spread from Wisconsin to Montana..
The Brian Mac Band became one of the strongest and sought after, up and coming Contemporary Country Rock Bands playing in Minnesota and the surrounding States of Wisconsin, Iowa, North and South Dakota's.
Featuring powerful and rich vocals of Brian Mac and the harmonies of the group, the bands energy pulls
audiences out of their seats and on to the dance floor.
Moving to Nashville, Tennessee. In 2011, Brian Mac quickly made musician contacts and formed Brian Mac & The Farm Dogs.
And started to work on what would become Brian's 2nd and 3rd CD releases. Along with a Live Record filled with the recordings of the Brian Mac Band’s Live shows across the tour dates.
“Country Think’n”, "Smiles All Around" and "Something's in the Air" all three Records can be found on Itunes, Amazon and all other download venues.
And Original, Brian Mac songs are filled with the richness of a veteran songwriter and skilled guitar player.
Brian Mac & The Farm Dogs will entertain you from start to finish and will have you dancing all the way.
Making each show a different experience. You may hear a Classic Neil Young tune, Rock to hard Southern Rock favorites or a Brian Mac original. A storyteller, each song takes you to another place and time.
