Magdalena Zaczek is a dynamic Polish violinist and jazz vocalist, currently pursuing a Master of Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the mentorship of Simon James. Her musical journey is further enriched by studies with celebrated instructors Ian Swensen, Krzysztof Smietana, and Szymon Krzeszowiec.

A passionate advocate for 20th-century Polish composers like Górecki, Szymanowski, and Lutosławski, Zaczek has honed her craft in a wide range of settings, including prestigious workshops such as the International Violin Workshop in Kołobrzeg, Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut, and the Pacific Crest Chamber Music Festival.

Her versatility as an artist is showcased through her wide-ranging collaborations. In 2022, Zaczek served as the lead violinist for The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience in San Francisco, a thrilling immersive musical event inspired by the Netflix series. She has performed with world-class artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Krystian Zimerman, Smokey Robinson, Aerosmith, and The Eagles. Additionally, she has worked with esteemed ensembles like the Monterey Symphony and the San Francisco Ballet, displaying her adaptability across classical, pop, and rock genres.

Beyond her violin performance, Zaczek is an accomplished jazz vocalist. She has graced the stage at jazz festivals in Perugia and participated in the Umbria Jazz Clinics, where she collaborated with faculty from the Berklee College of Music. Her vocal prowess earned her a spot in the semifinals of The Voice of Poland, demonstrating her ability to engage audiences across genres.
