We experienced how terrific of a DJ Roy is this past New Years Eve at Massimos in Walnut Creek. Not only was he friendly and "approachable", he played the greatest dance music from the 60's-80's, really able to "read the room" and see that most of the patrons that night were over 30 years old and his song selection really kept the dance floor "full". Everyone was really enjoying the music. It was the best night of dancing to the music of "my time" in at least 10 years. We feel that Roy is an exceptional DJ!!

If you come to one of my events you will witness a spectacular time with music and entertainment. You will have a professional production from start to finish with lights to create a perfect atmosphere to capture the mood and theme of the event.
My aim is to always leave you with a well rounded show from the selection of music and the songs that will make you remember the time and place you were when you first heard that song!

For the past thirty years and counting DJ Roy Stone has thrilled audiences with his unique style of music. Genres from Rhythm and Blues to Classic Soul and music in between to get people dancing and on their feet.
If it's line dancing or a beat with afro centric, Latin or Cuban flavor DJ Roy has it in his mix.
I enjoy events where all folks can enjoy getting on the dancefloor young and old because music is universal and relates to all cultures.
If fun and exciting music is something you enjoy I will make sure you have a great event!!
Additional booking notes
It's very important to have a good sound system. This includes good equipment and the ability to operate it well for the optimal performance and clear production.
All cords and wires will be properly secured and taped down so that no incidents such as tripping on a loose cord occurs.
All lighting will be placed in an area for the best reflection and to properly offset the performance space.
The volume levels are monitored to ensure that it's set in accordance with the activity taking place and allows for conversation without the need to have to raise your voice to talk with the person seated next to you.
Our sound technicians will be monitoring sound levels and making any necessary adjustments to suit the audience at all times!!

The DJ equipment for each event will vary based on location and venue. We also factor in the number of guest so that every event is specifically tailored based on these factors.
