The Dewdrops are a funk and soul collective based in the Greater New Orleans Area. We strive to provide an intimate music experience for all those who listen. Our group is composed of seven musicians, all who are working toward getting our degrees in Jazz Studies at Loyola University New Orleans. You’ll find us around town playing original music and covers of some of the greats such as: Al Green, Amy Winehouse, Fugees, and more! Book us for your events, we hope to make your special moments just that much more memorable!

The Dewdrops was created by a group of students in the Jazz Studies program at Loyola University. We quickly moved from knowing each other just as friends, to knowing each other as bandmates and a family. Our ultimate goal as a band is to create a fun and intimate experience for our audience with tunes everyone knows and loves. If y’all ain’t singing and dancing, we ain’t playing right!

We can provide all our own equipment: we just need to know if there are enough outlets to safely plug in our amps, if there’s PA/ backline, if there’s enough space for all 7 members, and if there’s a house drum set. If there is no drum set or backline we have means of balancing the sound and renting a drum kit!
