The Core - classic rock, pop, soul, & country band

The CORE is a Northern California band that performs innovative arrangements of classic rock, pop, soul and country songs. Comprised of five talented singer-musicians with many years of performing and recording experience, The CORE is Jeffrey Nation (lead vocals), Robert Pina (drums), Brett Palm (bass), Phil Bunny (lead guitar and vocals), and Anthony Martinez (lead and backing vocals, keys, guitar).

The CORE is available to perform in all settings, from small intimate venues “unplugged” with or without microphones or amplification (“Acousti-Core”) to large concert halls using a full PA system and drummer (“Electri-Core”).  In any setting, The CORE’s dynamic sound brings out the essential elements of each song, highlighting the material itself though expert musicianship, exquisite repertoire selection, and beautiful vocal harmony. Repertoire ranges from easy listening favorites to rousing rock and roll and dance selections, ensuring something for everyone’s taste
