The Colville Band in an all-original band performing award-winning songs composed by songwriter Eric Colville. The band's style and songs are reminiscent of late 1960's and 1970's popular music when great - but different types of music could exist side-by-side. A Colville Band performance strikes a precarious but seemingly effortless balance between introspective, socially conscious anthems and a joyous, rocking, and irreverent romp careening through the gamut of human emotion and experience. The band is a very tight 4-piece band that has performed countless shows together. We are very talkative to the audience and often tell the stories behind how the songs came to be. We are a band that requires a "listening" audience and often ask for audience participation as opposed to a band simply hired to provide background music. We do not want to play those kind of shows and you should not hire us if that is what you are looking for.
We can provide a full sound system and lighting (preferred) but if you can provide this, please contact us regarding the situation and a description of what you provide.
