My friend Jessica and I hired The Cocktail Detective for a small happy hour last year and his cocktails were a huge hit. This was the first time I had ever hired a bartender and I didn't really know what to expect, and Chris was very helpful during the planning of everything. He brought his own bar, which he built himself. It was pretty impressive. initially I was going to supply everything and have the bartender just make drinks, but Chris gave us a good deal and it was more convenient for him to provide everything. Would have him back!

What to expect
The Cocktail Detective provides event bar services ranging from simple staffing to full service open bars.
When you hire the Cocktail Detective you'll have unlimited personal consultations with the owner, Chris, where you will work together to curate the perfect bar for your event. We love to plan here at the Cocktail Detective, and have a keen eye for all the details that others typically miss. We believe there are no dumb questions when it comes to planning an event, and encourage you to discuss anything you wish during the planning phase. We're happy to educate our clients about tall aspects of the event bar process!
After discussing the event in detail, we'll give you a full rundown of everything you will need to get the party going. You're free to provide all of the alcohol and bar supplies yourself, or if you'd rather just kick back and relax The Cocktail Detective will handle everything so all you need to worry about is which hand to hold your drink in.
When our team arrives at your event, we will come at least an hour and a half early to setup the bar and make sure everything is perfect before any guest arrives. For larger or more logistically challenging events we will require more setup time, which will be discussed during the planning phase.

We require a 7' x 7' area for setting up the bar and backbar.
Lighting is required for outdoor events at night.
