Whether you book just one of the Clauses or both, expect a timely arrival and an performer who is "on" from the moment they're in view of the venue to the moment they vanish into the winter night. The magic and warmth of the season is important to us, and we want every person we meet to Believe in the Clauses and the spirit of Christmas even more when we leave than they did when we arrived.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are partners at the North Pole, and truly love visiting events together. Mrs. Claus is ever the gentle hostess - when children are nervous, Mrs. Claus helps soothe them, and is able to gently guide them to an interaction with Santa where the little one can feel more comfortable and confident. She's also able to organize groups of children with a story or a song, and that helps with transitions and focusing the excitement in the room!

Let us know in your inquiry if you are interested in storytime, songs, crafts, activities, games, or cookie decorating, and we can tailor our visit to your needs, whether your group is young or young-at-heart. There may be an additional fee for craft materials and cookie decorating, so that Mrs. Claus may have enough supplies for everyone.

- Santa Claus -
Santa has been performing, entertaining, and hosting events in the Charlotte area for more than 20 years, with 17 in the red and white as the North Pole's most famous resident. He is quick-witted, knowledgeable, and playful, whether in his "summer job" as a local trivia host, or incognito as the Lord Mayor of the local Renaissance Festival, from small family gatherings to big corporate events!

Santa Claus is wonderful with children and adults alike, and loves playing games, reading stories, checking his lists, and hearing what you'd like for Christmas.

- Mrs. Carol Claus -
Carol Claus is an enthusiastic Mrs. Claus and second-generation Claus with 35 years of Santa support and 16 years of Christmas performance under her belt. Since she was first trusted with keeping the Secret of Santa in 1991, she’s been helping the Man in Red make his rounds.

Mrs. Claus has worked with children her whole life, from teaching in the formal classroom to coordinating summer camps to leading workshops for the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and the Carolina Renaissance Festival. She’s honed her creative, educational, and performing skills as a costumer and character performer since 2005, portraying everything from princesses to superheroes for birthday parties, special events, and charity visits, and at the festival as a wandering street character and stage act.

Since then, Carol Claus has made in-person and virtual visits with children’s hospitals, special events, and homes, both alongside her Santa, and on her own. Carol is a storyteller, baker, reindeer trainer, singer, musician, magic-maker, and “self-rescuing, action-adventure Polar Princess.”

She has some signing/ASL experience as a Grandchild of Deaf Adults, and as a person on the spectrum herself, Mrs. Claus specializes in working with children like her, and with helping each and every child feel seen, heard, and loved.

If the event is indoors, remember that Santa and Mrs. Claus are used to much colder temperatures at the North Pole, so a temperature around 68 degrees makes them feel right at home.

While fires in fireplaces are lovely, Santa and Frosty have something in common - they get melty near the heat, so Santa should be in a pretty and cool-temperatured place for photos.

If you would like for Santa to sit at your event for photos, a sturdy, armless dining chair is perfect for meeting and greeting guests. While armchairs are beautiful, they don't give much room to stand beside Santa or sit on his knee.

If booking Mrs. Claus for crafts or cookie decorating, she'll be in one of her kitchen outfits, which are best-suited for fun and playtime that can get a bit messy.
