The Christmas Revelers

"The Christmas Revelers" will arrive to your venue location at least 15 minutes ahead of performance time. They will adapt to whatever special circumstances your venue/event may require. The group will perform for their allotted contract time and always remain positive, polite, calm and responsive to any reasonable requests from their clients. Clients and their audiences/patrons/visitors/shoppers can expect to be entertained and thoroughly engaged by a performance from "The Christmas Revelers".

"The Christmas Revelers" have been caroling throughout the Vancouver and Lower Mainland region since the year 2000. The idea to form the group came from a family member who needed some carolers for a holiday event at a boutique hotel in Vancouver. Amy Newman created a group to sing for the event and voila: "The Christmas Revelers" a cappella caroling quartet was born.

Now in its 24th year of operation, the "Revelers" have had a diverse client base over the years including: Newport Village, Burnaby Village Museum, The Arbutus Club, Bruce's Country Market, Telus Garden, Mackin Heritage House, Probus Club of North Vancouver, Seaspan Ferries, The Shipyards District BIA, Bentall 5, Warrington PCI Management, Willingdon Community Centre, The Hope Centre, New Vista Society, Park Place, JD Sweid Foods, Van Dusen Gardens, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, Grouse Mountain Resorts, Hyack Christmas Festival Parade of Lights, Consular Corps, Bosa Development, Old Schoolhouse Art Centre, Hilton Metrotown, Executive Event Production Inc, GardenWorks, Burnaby Community Connections, Hart House Restaurant, Beedie Group, Wedgewood Hotel, Spectra Energy, Lonsdale Quay and the Canucks' Autism Network as well as the seniors' retirement communities of Vancouver, Burnaby, North and West Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, White Rock, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Mission, BC.

When you hire "The Christmas Revelers" you can expect a performance that is like a show. Due to their training as entertainers, these carolers will engage your patrons/audience/visitors/shoppers with a dynamic presentation that includes traditional carols, such as "Jingle Bells" "O Holy Night", "Joy to the World" and "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing", as well as standard holiday classics, like "White Christmas", "All I Want for Christmas is You", "Winter Wonderland", "Let it Snow!", "Do You Hear What I Hear?", "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer", and "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas".

"The Christmas Revelers" look wonderful, too. They are dressed in beautifully constructed 19th century period costumes, with brilliantly coloured red and green velvet ball gowns and cloaks for the ladies, with handsome matching vests, tailcoats and top hats for the gentlemen. It is a visual banquet.

"The best I've ever heard."

We asked Amy if they'd carol for our family. Mum's got cancer and has to be careful, so we thought of bringing festivities to her. The Revelers were wonderful - so cheering in their full costume and wonderful voices. The quote is from my father who is not given to superlatives. We sat on our steps in a rain pause and it felt something like witnessing a Christmas star or two...
