The Brothers Ralph is a truly unique duo with lead bass and a one-man band feel.
We have been described as a mixture of Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and old school Neil Young, but can play any genre that you need for your event.
As a two-person group, we are not overly loud, but still bring the party. We are versatile with the capability to bring a bigger group, play acoustic with upright bass, or rock your socks off! We are open to most gigs within the state (Michigan) and would travel for the right opportunity. In the past, we have played weddings, private parties, funerals, and other live events.

October 7, 2025The Brother Ralph played for my wedding and it was awesome. Did about a three hour session with a couple of classic wedding songs for people to dance to mixed in. Absolutely zero issues and they were all in the whole time. They take pride in their craft. They can read the room and are very adaptable and flexible. Can’t say enough good things about them. Class acts.

October 23, 2024We didn't know what to expect exactly so we had a bit of apprehension going into our ceremony. However, not only did these guys exceed our expectations, they were simply incredible. Very talented and played our music exactly the way was meant to be. I've had SO many inquiries since then and the list of people asking me for their contact information keeps growing. If you or anyone you know is planning any kind of formal, semi-formal or simply fun social event- here is your outstanding live music ensemble. The only problem may be that this group is going to booked pretty solid so I'd recommend contacting them ahead if possible!

October 15, 2024I recently had the privilege of having The Brothers Ralph perform at my parents' funeral, and I can't express enough how impactful their music was during such a difficult time. They traveled all the way from Lansing to South Bend, IN, and their dedication truly showed.
From the moment they arrived, they were grounded and exuded professionalism. They set up with such ease and grace, making everything feel effortless. What truly touched me was how they helped choose the music, ensuring it reflected my parents' spirit. Their acoustic harmonies filled the space with warmth and love, and the fact that they sang one song in Spanish meant so much to me, as my parents were from Chile. Each note felt like a heartfelt tribute, bringing comfort and a sense of peace to a somber occasion.
The Brothers Ralph were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, and their performance created a serene atmosphere that celebrated my parents' lives and love. I am incredibly grateful for their kindness and talent, which added such a meaningful touch to the service. We offer a wide variety of musical services. We can rock for a house party, we can lead Christmas Caroling, we can play a stripped down acoustic set with upright bass, we can perform as a solo cover act, etc. The possibilities are endless as we also lead a choir and could perform classical music too. We recently performed at a wedding and then DJ'd the end of the night when people were partying.
Music is our passion and we always put our unique spin on it during each performance. We can't wait to perform for you soon!
Connor and Spencer are The Brothers Ralph. We have been playing music together since very young ages, beginning with violin, trumpet, saxophone, etc. and moving into the rock instruments.
As a two-person band, we currently utilize guitar, foot percussion, and bass to creat a full sound. We sometimes bring in additional members to play with us, including a flautist, violinist, or percussionist. We also have the capability to play a completely stripped down set with upright bass. The bottom line is, no matter what you are looking for, we are able to put our own spin on it and make it fun for listeners of all ages and demographics.
Connor and Spencer are both actively involved in the East Lansing Catholic music community, serving as the Music Director and section leaders at St John Student Center and Parish on Michigan State University's campus. We perform for weddings, funerals, and other special masses within the community.
In the past, we have traveled the world performing with choirs in Europe and South Africa, as well as performing as professional, touring bands across the United States.
It has always been our dream to play music professionally, and our passion for music is evident in every note. You'll see right away if you book us.

We prefer to play gigs that provide their own PA system and speakers, however, we do have the capability to bring our own. We have lights but don't use them often. Our stage setup is small/manageable and does not require an enormous space.
